I have been an alcoholic for decades. I have been and still go to meetings, I have been to rehab, and I have tried medication. I have had some success with these routes. But accountability, when shared with others, is what has made the biggest difference. I do not look at my Soberlink as a punishment nor a penance. I look at it as another tool to help me stay sober. I share my sobriety twice a day with my loved ones. It helps me stay sober, and it makes them feel safe. Above all, it makes me feel proud of myself.
